dressing room favorites.

One of the things I miss most living far away from all my sisters, is having girls to shop with.  I love shopping with my sisters.  I can’t tell you how many hours we’ve spent in dressing rooms, giving each other advice.  I thought it would be fun today to share some recent favorites from the dressing room.  It’s always fun to see how things fit in real life, and I love it when people share great finds with me, so I thought I’d share some of mine with you.  Let me know if this is something you’d like to see more of, and I can make it a more frequent thing…

Okay, so first up, this bell sleeve was a no brainer, it’s so pretty and so flattering.  And I love the little shirting striped piping.  So crisp and perfect for spring and summer.  I’m heading back to Seattle for a project that I’m currently working on, and you better believe that this pretty top is getting packed.

I love everything that Loft is doing this season, cutest prints and this cropped embroidered jacket is no exception.  Fit is really great, and I love the subtle Audrey meets Boho vibe.  Like a New England gypsy or something.  So pretty.

I’m always a sucker for white peplum lace, and I love the fit and sleeve length on this top.  It would be so cute with boyfriend jeans and wedges or flats for the summer…

I love a great pullover sweater, especially paired with this gingham top. I love the fit on this sweater and that can be paired with cold weather layers now, and then a lightweight skirt later on in the spring.  And isn’t my baby the cutest.  Perfect little sidekick.

I don’t have a ton of pink in my wardrobe and almost none in this color, but I really love this sweater.

A closer look at this poppy red gingham popover top.  Oh my goodness.  This is a new favorite.  (Cutie in the background not included…;-)  This shirt looks really great with my trench coat, but it also looks great with my black wellies and my red coat.

This pleated ruffle bottom cardigan is amazing.  Such a pretty statement piece.  Love the fit, and that it’s neutral and can be paired with so many things.

Ruffles are everything this season and this sweatshirt is such a fun take on the trend.  I love the classic gray.  And the fit is amazing.

If there was ever a sweater that was made for me, it’s this striped, bow neck cardigan.  I just about died when I saw it.  It’s so perfect for spring and summer…  J.Crew is on point in a big way this season.

Another fun take on the ruffle trend with this striped ruffle sweater.  I love the fit, and I guess I’m in a grey mood right now, because I keep picking out things in this color lately.

This short sleeve striped sweater is another favorite, and it’s on major sale right now.  I love the fit and I can’t wait to pair it with my favorite blush skirt.

Where are you loving to shop right now?  Have you found anything fabulous?

Love it! Question: What eyebrow pencil do you use? I love Maybelline’s Define-A-Brow, but now I can’t find it anymore!

I don’t care what anyone thinks…dressing room posts are totally the most useful of all. I don’t have any sisters and never would I want any of my friends knowing where I shop or what I spend…they’re not into clothes.

I hope you bought that lil jacket up top, cause…wow…And so much else, too.
