we call it the time-out chair.

Silk Shirt: Banana Republic.  Jeans, Shoes:Target.  Belt: Thrifted.  Necklace, Earrings: Ross.

I took a time-out tonight. Instead of coming right home from class I went to Home Goods and soaked up all the deliciousness.  I even found an awesome driftwood sailboat for $12 bucks and an over-sized clock for 10.  Woot woot.  I’m super stoked because this weekend I’m going to finish the dining room table I’ve been building, (I’ll show that to you next week-sqeal- it’s awesome.)  and I’m going to pimp-out my master bedroom for around 80 bucks.  Also, you should definitely come back tomorrow because you’ll get to see the a-mazing thing I sewed a couple days ago.  I know, the suspense is just killing you.  Try not to hold your breath.

So after I took my little time-out I thought it would be fitting to do the my shoot on the “time out chair.”  Do you like it?  I found this baby at a thrift store for $2.50.  Painted her and covered the cushion with the fabric I used to make the curtains.  Voila.

Mr. Husband said he liked my outfit a lot when he came home from work today.  He said the shiny shirt looked good with my distressed jeans.  And that’s a really big dealt cause he had just had a not so super happy day at work, but he still told me he liked my clothes.  And he’s a guy.  So yeah.

I just love that man.  He’s the only person in the world who I think it’s totally fun to just sit around on the couch and goof off with.  Plus, he tells me when my shirt is doing that poof over the belt thing, so I don’t look chubby.  He called it a shirt-baby.  Dying.
