Dressed on a dime: coupon your clothes.

Red Pants: The Limited-Thrifted and dyed red by me ($4 plus $2 for dye= $6)  Blazer: The Loft ($30)  Button-up: Forever 21 ($10) Shoes: Target ($4)  Scarf: American Eagle ($2)
Total cost: $52
I’m always impressed by those super coupon-ninja grocery shopper ladies.  You know the ones I’m talking about.  They’ve got like 15 extra jars of everything in their cupboards, they never run out of anything, their grocery list is uber organized and they walk out of the grocery store paying $25 for $250 worth of groceries.
Yeah, that is so not me.
I am however, pretty much a ninja shopper when it comes to finding good deals on my clothes.
Tip: Coupon your Clothes.
Even if you are like me and aren’t any good at couponing, you can still get great deals on your clothing by understanding when things are going to go on sale, and keeping track of your “stores.”
The end of season sales are a really great time to catch a good deal, especially since those sales actually happen around the middle of the season as the stores are preparing to roll in the next season’s stuff.  You can still enjoy it for half the season and if you buy classic pieces, they should be in style and waiting for you next year.
Pay attention to store’s sale schedules.  This girl has a pretty great list of some key places and their sale schedules.
And I’ve said it before, but I’ll say it again.  Sign-up for email updates.  You don’t have to do it at every store you shop at.  Heaven knows, none of us want that much junk mail, but pick a select few and subscribe.  Then you’ll know when they are doing their major sales.  And take advantage of sales on top of sales.  The best deals I’ve snagged have come from extra 50% off clearance items.  You can’t beat that.
And lastly, the after Thanksgiving sales are the bomb.  There’s no rule that says it has to be a gift if you buy it the day after Turkey day.  Figure out stuff that you need and find it in a post-Thanksgiving day sale.  The year we built our house in AZ we went the day after Thanksgiving and bought all our appliances.  We were able to get awesome upgraded appliances for a steal.  Five hours later and we would have paid more than twice the price.
In other news,
I’d like to wish my grandpa, my two uncles, Mr.’s grandpa and uncle, as well as all other service members a very Happy Veterans day.
Thank you for protecting our freedom.
We are enjoying that freedom with a day off of school, hot cocoa with breakfast, lots of make believe and most likely some homemade pizza tonight.  It’s promising to be a very yummy day.
Happy Weekend Everyone.

I always try to use coupons for my clothes because most stores such as LOFT and JCrew always have a 40% coupon or something similar. And that’s really helpful!
