I read Erin’s blog and it blew me away. Girl on Girl Hate is such an epidemic right now. Why can we not embrace and celebrate our fellow women’s accomplishments. There is some serious hater-aid being drunk by all the ladies (ok not all but a lot) out there and I for one think we need to put and end to this by evaluating who we are, what we want in life, the goals we have for ourselves. Because most of the time when we are cruel and criticize others it is because we see something in them that we our selves lack. Maybe if we all took a look in the mirror and focused on what makes us truly happy, we would not get such satisfaction from tearing others down.
No, no, no. Cori–YOU ROCK. I don’t comment like I should on your blog, but just know that after every post I leave your blog feeling inspired, happy, excited to be a mom, and motivated to be a better wife. You are lovely through and through. Anyhow, thanks girl. And I really hope you aren’t having a bad day because, well bad days suck. Honestly this is one of the big things I’m trying so hard to instill in my daughters. We all rock. No other person should have the power to dim our light. Sound easier on paper? Of course it does, it’s a hard mental attitude to have but it’s the truth none the less. You rock. Erin rocks. And you both have me convinced that I will rock today despite my horrible allergies, an incovenience with the plumber and a school fund raiser at Chuck e Cheese of all places. It’s everyday life, nothing terribly exciting but still worth rocking, sparkling and shining!
