the last of Victoria.

Last post from our weekend in Victoria.

I promise.

But seriously.  You Canadians made a big impression on me.

So here you go, 6 random things:

1.The state house gardens are the bomb.  (Do people use that term anymore?)  So pretty and peaceful, plus I felt really cool hanging out in a place where the actual Queen of England has walked.

2. Craigdarroch castle is amazing. And huge.  And it’s got Mr.’s name in it, so yeah.

(Mr’s name is Craig, not Darroch, juuuust in case you were wondering)

3. These polka dot pants from Old Navy are really fantastic, but they run big.  Like I’m 5 months pregnant and these are a size 0 in normal people clothes big.  So if you get some, size down. There.  You’ve been warned.

4. It should also be noted that if you rent a moped and ride around the island all day, they stretch out, quite a lot.

5. Renting a moped on Victoria is definitely a good idea.

6. Helmets are super sexy.  And don’t let anyone tell you otherwise.

Pants/Blouse/Jacket: Old Navy.  Tank: H&M. Ballet Flats: Steve Madden via DSW. Sunnies: Loft.  Bubble Necklace: J Crew. Bag: Ross.

I just wanted to let you know that a skirt you made is pictured on a article about good pins on independent fashion bloggers. I like your necklace.

Victoria is a beautiful city. My husband and i rented a moped a rode around the Island. If you get a chance go have high tea at the Fairmont hotel. Its beautiful and very yummy. We went there when i was newely pregnany, and i couldn’t really enjoy all the yummy sandwiches due to my morning sickness. Love your outfits.

  8. I love your Victoria posts! I’m from Vancouver and went to Victoria for my first time ever this February. It was beautiful! We did Craigdarroch Castle, the Natural History museum and even high tea at the Empress hotel. My BF actually proposed at tea!!! and for that Victoria will forever have a special place in my heart. I love your view on it!

  9. That looks like such a relaxing weekend in a gorgeous place.

I have a question which may be a bit silly! In Australia we don’t really have a size 0 (US size 0 is roughly equivalent to a 4 or 6 over here I think). So what happens when you go below 0? Do you go into negative sizes?

Usually I have to shop at places that carry 00P which isn’t very many places, or have my clothing altered. Ah the life of a shorty. Haha!
