Joe’s Farm Grill.

One of the great things about coming back to a place you’ve already lived before, is that you get to revisit all your old favorites.  The other night Mr. and I took a break from unpacking and drove the littles down to Joe’s Farm Grill for dinner.  The restaurant and it’s surrounding community garden Agritopia is one of my favorite spots in the Phoenix area.  Converted from a family farm into a little urban farming mecca, they grow their own organic produce and focus on making common food uncommonly well.  Let me just say, their sweet potato fries are out of this world.  After dinner I took my milkshake and we walked the gardens together.  There was the most amazing monsoon rolling in from every direction while we walked, and it cooled everything down fabulously.  By the time we drove home the entire sky was one big lightening show, and after we put the littles to bed, Mr. and I went out and stood in the warm desert downpour and watched the street flood.

The more I see of the world, the more amazed I am by all it’s diverse beauties.

I’m so grateful that I’ve been able to live in so many different places, and experience so many of them.

Boyfriend jeans: Nordstrom Rack.  Blouse/under tank: Old Navy.  Cardi/Ring/ Sunnies: Loft.   Belt: Vintage.  Shoes: Nine West.  Bag: Michael Kors.
Also, I think it should be noted: I’m 30 weeks today, and it’s kind of a big deal.

Congrats! I’m 28 weeks tomorrow and about to enter the third trimester! Our baby girl is due November 16. Do you wear a bella band with your jeans? I assume those aren’t maternity jeans you’re wearing. Also, do you know where to find cute white maternity pants? The ones I’ve seen online are suuuupppper expensive.

Congrats Meg! I’m not wearing a bella band with these, I just bought them in a slightly bigger size and they are low rise so I can still button them just fine. As far as cute maternity pants that won’t break the bank, I would go Gap or Old Navy. You can pick up a pair at ON for around $30 which is pretty reasonable. Gap’s are about twice that much, but sometimes you can find them on sale. Also, a lot of the time ON has maternity in store. Hope this helps!

Wow I can’t believe you’re 30 weeks along already! You look great. Thanks so much for taking time to share a cool Phoenix location amidst your unpacking. I would love to see how you organize things. Are you moving into your old house, or a different one? We must moved a few months ago and organizing our stuff in a new space is proving a bit difficult. Thanks so much for your lovely posts :).

  24. That’s so fun you moved back to Phoenix. I live here now, but I am from the PNW so I understand how you feel about loving each place for different reasons. I am going to have to try out this restaurant. Sounds like a lovely date night!
