Yesterday morning, I just didn’t feel like doing Monday, if you know what I mean. Call it a case of the “I didn’t really get a weekend,” since Saturday consisted mostly of grocery shopping, and enforcing my children’s grounding. And let’s face it, carrying out punishment isn’t any more fun for the parents than it is for the kids. Mr. kept saying, “I wish the kids hadn’t been so naughty all day so we could go do something fun tonight…” Seriously.
Anyways, the point is, I wasn’t ready for Monday. So what do I do when I wake up in a funk? I put on the most cheerful thing I can think of, which usually involves a fun pattern and lots of brights, and you know what, it works every time. It wasn’t half an hour before I was whistling a different tune all the way through my Monday to-do list.
Truth be told I’ve never worn a lot of pink (at least in this shade) but this bright boyfriend sweater had me at hello. Plus you know, last weekend Old Navy had 30% off everything in store, so… ;-)
