like a boss.

One of the very best things about being my own boss is that I can bring my babies to a lunch meeting with me, and then I can pretend to work whilst actually doting on them the whole time, and the only person who’s going to give me a hard time about not being more productive is me.  Which I don’t…  I think I’ve found the secret to life.

Herms is a local little nook just at the mouth of Logan Canyon and it’s one of Cache Valley’s many gems.  Converted from an old gas station, it’s got all the funky charm you come to expect from a small town.  Lots of interesting design touches, lighting that is bananas, and food that’s legit good.   Goll, there are so many amazing places to eat here, I may never go chain restaurant again and that’s more than fine with me.  Except Olive Garden.  You know I’ll never quit you.

Really, Olive Garden? I think it’s gone majorly downhill in the last ten years. Richmond also has a ton if little “hidden” local food gems. So great! Come visit. :)

Awwwe… your little darlings are so cute. I totally get what you’re saying. I am so “jeli” of my husband, who like you, is his own boss. Today he took our little guy to work with him, and they stopped by my downtown DC office to take me out to lunch. They were both sooooo cute. Wish I could have taken the afternoon off to spend with them, but corporate America is not that forgiving. Sighs!!!
