It’s snowing outside my window right now. Snowing. On October 29th. I want to know when winter thought it would be okay to get its greedy little hands on the last bit of my fall. These were taken yesterday when the weather was perfect. Perfect, I tell you! The air was crisp and I was toasty warm in my riding boots and soft ponte dress. I have the hardest time regulating my temperature after I have a baby, especially when it’s chilly; I’m just constantly freezing. Mr. put an extra heater up in my studio because I’m in there all the time and it’s this fantastic gabled window, vaulted ceiling finished attic room, which is unfortunately always freezing. Except when I have my oil heater on, then it gets toasty warm… I have no idea where I am going with this, except that the big puffy snow flakes falling outside my window are making me think of everything that’s warm and cozy. Speaking of which, this long sleeved tissue tee from Target is like the softest coziest piece of clothing that has ever touched my skin. I may or may not have worn it to bed last night… but shhh, don’t tell.
And now I think I’ll go and make myself a cup of cocoa.

I’ve just come across your blog, I love your style and I am truly excited to find a style blogger that has a need to dress for a really truly winter! I’m in the snowy region in Australia and I struggle to find inspiration for dressing nicely in the cooler weather, which we are apparently still experiencing. We are still having frosts and our fire was blazing yesterday. I’m looking forward to warmth!
You are so stinkin’ cute! I love, love your style. You DO NOT look like a momma of 4 kiddos. The quality of your photos and content is top notch. How do you find the time to blog? What type of camera do you use? I’ve just recently started a blog as a creative outlet. I’m a mostly stay at home mom (part-time from home) and love fashion, cooking, and DIY. Any advice (if you have time) would be appreciated.

Such a cute outfit. I wish i could still get away with a denim jacket in Scotland but I’m afraid the cold is fast setting in and it calls for a heavy coat with a hood for all the rain … Meh!!

P.s. I’m hosting a Michael Kors watch giveaway on the blog this week. If you’re feeling lucky, check it out:

super cute! and snow?! crazy
I saw your Instagram pic of the snow and hope it does not head to the easy coast anytime soon. Love the blog too!
I have those boots!!! They are the best, aren’t they? I get so many compliments whenever I wear them (which is basically every single day of fall.) Anyway, LOVE this look. You are inspiring me to put some better outfits together this week.
By the way, Ohio had the snow, too. Same thing, perfect day then out of nowhere, snow! Crazy. I read something from NPR that if you believe in what the Farmer’s Almanac predicts, get ready for a cold, snowy winter. Now, I digress…
