of sweaters and snickers bars.

Some clothes just really make my heart sing, if you know what I mean.  This super soft color-block baseball sweater is one of them.  You know what else makes my heart sing?  Ice cream Snickers bars.  This has absolutely nothing to do with my sweater, or really any clothes at all, except that I happen to be eating one right now, and oh. my. goodness.  These things are my weakness.  I’ll never be satisfied with a normal snickers again.

Also, my hair looks like a drowned rat in these pictures.  Once again, nothing to do with clothes, or snickers bars for that matter, but I felt that it needed to be addressed.  How does that even happen?  I fix my hair in basically one of two ways approximately 99% of the time and then some days just out of nowhere it goes all wonky.  Has anyone ever been able to really explain bad hair days, because I feel like we should have a cure for them by now, you know with all the technology we’ve got.

And on that note, I will now end the most random post of the century.

Tally-ho.

I know what you mean about the hair! I do the exact same thing every time, but why it turns out different is beyond me. Humidity? Does that even exist in Utah?

  3. I’m in love with Mounds Ice Cream bars… This is not a good thing. I’m pretty sure I could eat 3 in one sitting if I let myself.

And I would kill to have your bad hair day!!! You have GORGEOUS hair. I only have 6 inches or so to catch up :-)

That is how my hair looks all the time. I have fine VERY straight hair and it is limp and lifeless and probably doesn’t help that I am growing it long right now. I think if my hair looked like that, it would be a good hair day indeed! As for that sweater, it is pretty much perfection. Mint, forest green, colour blocked/baseball. Seriously?!? Who knew! It looks incredible on you, too. Something about the dark hair, I just can’t seem to get over my envy of it except that I tried to dye mine dark once and suffice it to say it did not go well. Lovely, as per usual. Carry on!

You look great like always in your outfit posts, those mountains in the background look so pretty.. If you think that is a bad hair day try having my super thick unruly different textured hair (one part is curly, one part is straight) and in the humidity where I live it just gets huge in the worst possible way, you can practically tell the time by looking at my hair because it get’s bigger as the day keeps going. And the best part is… it doesn’t hold elastics or bobby pins and doesn’t hold a curl to safe my life.

You just described my hair verbatim. We are literally hair twins. Haha. I live in a dry climate thankfully. I have my hair thinned and I get a keratin treatment. Worth every penny.

A baseball tee in sweater material is def on my “want” list.

I have no hair advice. My hair is getting weird like that this week and I’m just going to blame the change in weather…Maybe I’ll get a humidifier or something…

Cori, we’re so close to selling our home! And, we’re just about as close for making a move to Utah! Still figuring out a few details, but so far things are looking good. I say this because I love you and would LOVE living closer to you and really wanted you to know. But, also I can’t help but think of how my hair would benefit with the move! Less humidity? Yes,please!!! Anyway, when I get the final details of everything…good or bad, I’ll give you a call. Let’s cross our fingers!!!
