How was everyone’s Turkey day?  To be honest, I’m still trying to slide out of my pie coma, but here we are.  The holiday season has officially begun!  And with it, all that shopping… I actually really love the hunt every year, but trying to find the perfect gift for everyone on your list can be such an experience.  Last night, I kid you not, Craig made a spreadsheet.  You know, “to keep everything straight.”  Such an engineer.

The internet has spoiled me in the last couple years, and I basically do all my Christmas shopping online now.  I love that I can find whatever I am looking for, in the size I need and I don’t have to hassle with hunting all over in stores, just for it to be sold out.  So, I was super excited when Zappos invited me to be part of their #ZapposPresentPalooza this year, and do a gift exchange with a fellow blogger.  I love Zappos, whether I’m looking for a gift or for myself, it’s the ultimate destination for shoes, clothing and accessories, and I really love that they have amazing customer service and that they offer fast free shipping and a 365-day return policy.

The idea of getting to shop for another blogger at Zappos, had me really excited.

I was paired with Gracie from: Girl Meets Life, and it was honestly such a blast to shop for her on Zappos.  There are literally thousands and thousands of options in clothes, handbags, and shoes to choose from and I felt like I had any brand I could think of or imagine, right there at my fingertips.  It was also a little overwhelming, I mean…so many choices!  So I really loved utilizing their “wishlist” feature.  If I found an item I thought Gracie might love, like these amazing Dolce Vita Isleen booties (which I ended up ordering for her) I just had to add it to my “favorites.”

Then when I was done browsing, I had all the items I was considering in one place, which made it much easier to compare and make my final choices.

In the end, I went with those amazing Dolce Vita Booties, and this gorgeous Betsy Johnson buffalo check scarf for Gracie.  She has a great edgy but feminine style, which is a little different from mine, and it made it even more fun to shop for her.  It was so easy to find great pieces to fit her and her style on Zappos.  Gracie chose for me this amazing Rebecca Minkoff mini tote, and she seriously knocked it out of the park.  I love the structure, the leather is gorgeous, and I love that it’s a cross body bag.  Most of my purses are kind of giant (hashtag: momlife) and I’ve been wanting to add a smaller piece to my closet for awhile. This bag is the perfect size for running around town by myself, or for hot date night.  ;-) ;-)

Zappos also has a really great holiday gift guide, with ideas for everyone on your list.  I love the way they’ve made it so you can shop by price, but that they also give you the option to shop by piece as well.  With my busy life, any way I can streamline things is a plus and Zappos has made holiday shopping easy peasy.
