the best fall booties.

BEST FALL BOOTIES

Cognac Booties: Nordstrom. Jeans: Madewell. (best skinnies everrrrr…)

It took me a couple seasons to warm up to the booty.  In fact, so not sold was I on the trend that the first pair I bought were from Target because I wasn’t willing to invest more than $35 into the style until I was sure that I’d actually like/wear them.  That was a few years ago.  I’ve since changed my tune quite a bit, I love booties, especially in the fall.

They are literally the perfect shoe for Seattle’s cooler months, and they work with so many different things.  Skinny jeans, boyfriends, dresses, even flares look great with a good heeled booty.  I looked and looked all last year for a pair of cognac booties that made my heart sing, but to no avail.  This year, I was much luckier.  In fact, I’ve got this boot in 2 colors already and I’m pretty sure I’m adding a third. (I’m looking at you burgundy.)  They are the best, most comfortable boots I’ve ever worn, I love the heel height and the fact that I can wear them all day without my feet hurting at all.

There are so many great styles this year, I’m loving all the fresh colors, the cutouts, the classics and even (strike me dead) the fringe.  Here are my 15 favorite booties out there right now.

They took awhile to grow on me, too, but now that I have seen them in many different styles, worn in many different ways, I really like them.

Ahh I love your booties! They definitely give me more height while still feeling comfortable. I’m looking forward to finding some for my fall looks soon also.

I love the classic booties! I finally caved last year and purchased a black pair with gold detailing, but this year I’m looking for a brown pair. Thanks for sharing your favorites!
