There are some stores that I basically want to live in, and I found another one a few weeks ago on Bainbridge island. If you visit Seattle, do yourself a favor, grab a ferry over to the island and pop into Salt House Mercantile, you will LOOOOOOVE it.
It took awhile to sell me on the tassel trend, but I’m completely loving it now. This bag is so perfect and fun. Great size, awesome price.

I am in love with white lace tops this summer, and this tunic was literally the first thing I hunted out when I shopped the Nordstrom anniversary sale this year. I wish it was still in stock(!) but this dress is lovely and works great as a tunic is great if you are a little taller than me.

Who’s excited to start dressing for fall?! Bordeaux is totally my color guys (all the bordeaux things) and this sweater made my chunky sweater dreams come true. I’ve had so much fun shopping the NSale this year guys. The pieces have been so good.

I packed the kids up and headed east on Sunday morning. We’re spending the week having fun and visiting family while my sweet husband stays back to work. (Sorry babe!) Here are a few of my road trip essentials. (I’ll be sharing a comprehensive list later this week, because I am a road trip ninja!) I’ve wanted a Tory Burch bag for years and I mulled and mulled over which one until I settled on this one. It is perfect. I’ve needed a cognac bag for years and this one is the perfect color, size (large tote) and so pretty. All my sisters have been swooning over it, and it’s the perfect travel tote, but I love it for everyday use too. Plus at under $300 its a super reasonable price for a designer bag. Also this dress was the best thing ever to wear while driving the 800+ miles from Seattle to Utah. It’s maternity but you totally can’t even tell, and also no, #notpregnant.

My little doll is getting so big. She’s so much fun now, I just love love love three. Best age ever. Also, these pants you guys, are miraculous. Best summer pants ever (but they’ll be super cute with booties in the fall too.)
Anyone who knows me, knows that for me, in the summer, happiness is a farmer’s market. I have this semi-nerdy dream of one day opening my own stall at a farmer’s market and selling veggies and flowers I’ve grown myself. Big dreams, I know. I probably should try to overcome my black thumb first. In the meantime, this tote is a dream come true and I love what they’re doing as a company. I’ve worn this peasant top all summer and now I’m like asking myself why do I not have a bunch more peasant tops??

Little try-on sesh, during the first day madness of the Nordstrom Anniversary sale. So glad I brought those jeans and that sweater home with me. Still crying about the moto jacket I stupidly didn’t snag when I could have… WHAT WAS I THINKING!
