instagram lately.

Don’t you just love April?  Everything is blooming, and the bit of rain aside, it’s been so nice out, and I even mowed the lawn yesterday.  Well, I say mowed, but it’s more like I started mowing.  Holy cow, our property is so much bigger than our teaspoon-sized Seattle yard.  I mowed for like 2 hours and I maybe got a third of the yard done.  And that’s not even counting our big pasture up the hill behind by our barn.  But enough about my yard.  How about a fun little round-up of all the things I’ve been doing and wearing lately on instagram…

Two times a year we stay home and watch our Church’s General Conference.  I always make cheese danishes and they are a HUGE hit. (Like Ethan is already requesting them for his birthday breakfast, in October.)  These two helped me this year and they were so proud of themselves.  You can find the recipe here.

Jeans. shoes.

I’ve been living in these shoes you guys.  I’m having a real moment with mules this season.  These ones go with everything, they’re super cute and I get tons of compliments every time I wear them.  They take a bit of breaking in, but once they do they’re super comfy.

top. jeans. bag. shoes. sunglasses.

I’m really becoming quite the convert to bell sleeves.  I always thought they were a little too 70’s for me, but there are so many great versions this year, it basically changed my mind.

I love Tory Burch bags and this one is one of my favorites yet.

My favorite flowers in my kitchen.  There are a lot of changes that need to happen in this space,(hello lack of storage) but we’re not going to get started on it for a bit, so I’m just really glad that it’s such a bright happy space in the meantime.

striped shirt. (and here.) pink jacket. (similar here.) jeans. sneakers. sunglasses.

This is my momiform pretty much every Saturday.  I love a great t-shirt and distressed jeans.  And Madewell tees are my favorite.

pink mules. brown mules.

more slides.  I know.

bow sweater. top. jeans. shoes. bag. lipstick. sunglasses.

jacket. top. jeans. shoes. ray-bans.

Is it just me, or are soludos like the quintessential summer shoe?

Again with the soludos, I know.  But seriously!  They’re the best shoe!

Easter Sunday with my crew.  Look at my kids, you guys!  I am so lucky.  Seriously, couldn’t love anything more.

Boy’s suits are from H&M and Ava’s dress, Hannah’s dress is from J.Crew Factory. Mine is from J.Crew, and sweater from Ann Taylor.

we spent last Saturday in NYC and the blossoms all over the city were out of control.  It made all the rain we had to deal with totally worth it.

Sweater. Shirt. Jeans. Shoes. Sunglasses. Bag.

I love a good preppy outfit…

Jacket. Similar Sweater. Jeans. Shoes. Shirt.  Bag.

Rainiest day in NYC. And to be honest, this girl was such a pill the whole day… we still had a ball.

I shared a whole post yesterday (with a video even) all about these four beauty products and why I love them so much.  See it, plus the runner’s up here.

yes they are! I would get them a little early and wear them a few times to break them in a bit before hand. (Although I didn’t and my feet were still fine.) But they are really comfy once you break them in. And I love the ankle strap so much I want to marry it. I don’t usually like stuff tied around my ankles but these don’t bother me at all. They do run a bit narrow, but I have wide feet and they still work for me. Hope this helps!

  3. The 3 things that jumped out at me here are: stripes, mules, and blush pink. And all are lovely for spring!
