fitting room friday & holiday weekend sales.

Holiday weekends are always a great time to stock up on pieces you want or need because everything is on sale!  4th of July is a great weekend for holiday sales too, because it’s all the summer stuff on sale and it’s still early enough in the season to actually enjoy them.  In the next 3 weeks everything’s going to shift to fall focused styles, but for now, summer is on.  Here are some of my favorite stores with big sales happening this holiday weekend.  Make sure you check out my recent favorites from the fitting room below too!  There were some really good ones this time.  (Hello jumpsuits.)

I have this tee in the stripe version and a very similar one in white already but this one just went on sale for only $35!  The fit is great.

I wanted to love this shirt, and especially it’s striped brother, but I don’t know if it was just too big or what, but man!  The fit was weird!  Such a cute idea though.

This shirt is actually so much cuter than I even thought it would be.  I wasn’t sure I would like these sleeves, but they’re actually really fun.

This red gingham blouse is so fun.  the sleeves are a little intense, and it didn’t help that I needed a smaller size which they didn’t have in stock.  It’s still really cute and a great price.

This top. You know I can’t resist a ruffle sleeve, or a stripe, or a tie waist top, but put them all in one?  Dead.

This shirt was so comfy and low-key.  Distressed peplum.  I didn’t get it, but the fit was really nice.

My boys thought the sleeves on this top were hilarious, but I love it.  Like really love it.  Nice and lightweight for summer, love the stripes, and the texture, and mostly those amazing sleeves.

Just a cute tee with arm cutouts.  It’s a little sheer, FYI.

Could you die over this peplum sweatshirt?!  I am loving it!  Comes in a few colors.

I have been looking for the perfect white leather jacket for yearrrrrrssss!  This one is awesome.  Fit is great.  It’s not online yet, but it’s in store in the TOPSHOP section.

Okay this cute, cute top is actually sleeveless, but I put a tee under it.  Isn’t it adorable?!  It comes in a blue and white stripe as well.  Can’t decide which one I want more.

wide leg linen pants?  yes please.  Definitely need in petites though.  These were way too long.

look at this pretty olive skirt!  I love the cut.  Fit is amazing. It’s on sale too.

okay, this is what midi dresses look like on petite girls, so try not to let that distract you.  This blush dress is so pretty and twirly.  Fit is good, and it’s nice and comfy, if you are short like me, Nordstrom offers free alterations if you have a Nordstrom card, and this would be super simple to bring up.

I am obsessed with this pink and white striped dress.  It a little short on the sides for me and would make a perfect swim cover-up, but the price is a little high for me.  (especially if it’s just a swim coverup.)

I wanted to love this dress, but the fit was so. bad.  And this is like and XXSPetite.  Way off.

I love the sleeves on this tee.  Need it in an XXS, this is how the XS fit me.

This is the perfect cardigan for summer and beyond.  I’m probably going to go order it now that everything is 50% off on Loft’s website.

Another shirt where I need a smaller size, but I love the eyelet trim on this one as well.  Wearing an XS.

I talked about this tee on my Facebook page earlier this week, but it is my spirit animal for a number of reasons.  Obsessed.

yeah, I went and got another pair, cause when you find shorts this nice, you buy them twice.  Wearing a 00.

Love this Jumpsuit, but FYI if you have a bootie or muscular thighs (like me) you may need to size up.  They run small in the bum and legs.

same on these pants.  What gives Loft?  Some of us do a lot of squats…

Love this floral jumpsuit.  The bum/leg issue is better on this one.

I wanted to love these culottes, but the print/fit was just okay for me.
