the perfect fall floral dress.

I went into J.Crew Factory a little over a week ago to do a try-on (you can see it here) and I instantly fell in love with this fall floral dress.  Like, head over heels, in love. It’s got such a pretty floral print, the fit, cut and drape of it is so lovely, and it’s so comfortable.  It was one of those pieces where the second I tried it on, I instantly had a bunch of different ideas for how to style it pop into my head, which is when I know it’s a real winner.

I thought I would show you how I styled it on Halloween last week, with my OTK boots (see lots of ideas for styling these here) and my favorite leather jacket.

I love the energy this time of year, when fall is in full bloom and we’re speeding rapidly towards the holidays.  I’ve started putting my Christmas lists together, I’m bringing up decor from the basement to start decking our halls this week, and we are getting ready to officially launch the project I’ve been hinting at over on my instastories. (I’m so excited you guys!)   Also!  My little sister Meghan is coming to visit us at the end of the this week.  3 1/2 days with one of my favorite people!  This week is going to be full of good, happy things!

I’m continuing the one-piece multiple ways series tomorrow (I think you are going to love this one, it’s such a versatile piece!), early bird gift-guides are coming in hot later this week.  I’m finally finishing up our full Europe trip itinerary/guide.  (I know this has taken me forever, but we were gone for so long and did so many different things, there’s just a lot of info on there, I may have to split it up into two posts?  Which would you prefer?), and of course I can’t wait to share our Christmas tree with you… this really is the most wonderful time of the year!
