I’ve never been a huge “hair trend” follower. Mostly because I know my hair and what does and doesn’t work with it. I also tend to steer away from anything too precious as a petite woman because I have no desire to look more juvenile. But I do make exceptions occasionally, when there’s a trend that I just really truly love. Last summer I wore a messy bun with a bandana wrapped around it a lot. This year, I’m loving the hair clips trend.
I was kind of on the fence about this trend until a month or so ago when I tried it out and thought, hey that’s actually kind of really cute! I also love that it’s low-maintenance and works well with my thick hair. Some of the hairstyle trends just don’t work when you have hair that weight 17 lbs. I love these clips because I can style my hair as normal and then just clip them in for an added pop and go.
