Great capsule pieces from the Nordstrom Anniversary sale.

The Nordstrom Anniversary sale looks a little different this year. First of all, it’s August and early access for all cardholders doesn’t start until Thursday. I also won’t be doing a dressing room try-on in store this year (fitting rooms are for the most part closed in Connecticut.) And the sale is much smaller this year. I’ve been shopping this sale for the last 7 years and one of the things I did wrong those first few years, was buying into the frenzy. Grabbing the trendy, lower quality items that were hugely discounted and “fun” to buy but didn’t really serve my closet (or yours). For the last few years I’ve focused a lot more on the quality pieces that will last and serve your closet. This year I am only focusing on high quality capsule pieces for your closet because that is honestly the best thing to buy during this sale. The investment pieces that will last. Skip the trendy stuff and purchase the pieces that are versatile, well made and will last and be worn over and over again.
