I ordered a new family room rug from Amber Lewis’ Loloi line back at the beginning of January. It was back-ordered so I knew I would have to be patient. Well, it just arrived and all I have to say is, IT WAS WORTH THE WAIT! (Yes, I am yelling.) This rug is so beautiful, the perfect foundation for the space, and I swear it’s the softest rug I have ever set foot on. (That cloud-pile technology gets 2 enthusiastic thumbs up from me.). Here are 5 reasons to buy an Amber Lewis x Loloi rug.

1. They’re beautiful.
Let’s just start with the most important reason… these rugs are so pretty. The colors are lovely, they have that perfectly loved, and lived in vintage rug look, and they instantly elevate whatever space you put them in. They’re just really, really pretty rugs.
2. They’re affordable.
Many of Amber Lewis’ designs are grounded by gorgeous vintage area rugs. Those kinds of rugs can run in the thousands of dollars, especially if they are a large area rug (bigger than 8×10). What I love about her Loloi line is that it makes that beautiful classic look more accessible. These rugs run in the hundreds, the quality is really great, and since they are designed by Amber, you know the style is impeccable. Get the signature Amber Lewis design look for less. This rug in the 8 x 11 size comes in at $367.
3. They’re insanely soft.
I have two words for you: Cloudpile technology. I don’t know what magic it is that Loloi worked, but their cloudpile technology is legit. These literally look like beautifully aged vintage rugs and yet they are the softest thing you’ve ever set foot on. After having a not-so-soft rug in our family room for the last 3 years, my family is THRILLED with the change. If you are looking for a rug soft enough to curl up on, this is a winner. Not all of Amber Lewis’ Loloi rugs have cloudpile so if you are wanting one, check the description to make sure.
4. Easy to clean.
I have found in the past that rugs that are really soft and comfy underfoot are also a pain to clean. Vacuums hate them and they’re a magnet for pet hair. This rug is easy to vacuum (I’ve tried it with our Dyson and our corded vacuum and both worked great) and cleans up beautifully. I also suspect that given the pattern it’s going to be great for hiding stains. (Huge bonus in a big family) I haven’t needed to clean up any spills on it yet. (Just give it time…) But all of my previous Loloi rugs have spot cleaned beautifully with a little Folex.
5. Timeless style.
I’m not a super trendy person when it comes to my home design choices. (Been there, done that.) I made a few rug choices in the past that were overly trendy and I loved them for about a year and then they felt painfully dated. These rugs are a classic, timeless style you can love for years and years. They’re also transitional, so as you make changes to your space, they’ll continue to work for you and your family.
