the weather is boss.

Coral crops: Gap. Sweater/Necklace: Target. Chambray: H&M. Jacket: Loft.  Flats: Gift.  Purse:  Steve Madden.

Yesterday morning I woke up and I really wanted it to be spring outside.

But it was freezing cold and raining.

In defiance I pulled out my coral pants and wore them anyway.  I’ll show you cruddy weather, yes I will.  You can’t keep me from wearing my spring clothes.

You have to hold your ground once in a while, you know.

Let people (or the weather) know who’s boss.

So I woke up this morning and everything was covered in snow.

Snow.

Okay, I know who’s boss.

I love those pants, what a great color!
I really love how colored pants are all the rage now. I’ve seen a really nice mint colored pair that I really want to get…and a red, yellow and blue one too ;)
    That bag is so fabulous.
Hoping spring will come soon where you are.

And on the other side of the country, here I am not quite ready to put away my boots and sweaters, and it’s practically 80° outside! Of course, I don’t want rain either! I’ll send some of my weather your way.

  12. Hilarious, I had the same exact thoughts yesterday. I, too, decided I’d go ahead and wear my spring cropped pants and show Mother Nature she can’t stop me… then the snow really started coming down- so I had on cropped pink pants and my huge North Face winter jacket- not the best combo… I looked a little weird. Oh well.

I still love Seattle, but when is spring going to be here? June?

  14. Seeing all of your cute umbrellas has made me realize that I must be immune to the rain. I’ve lived in the Pacific Northwest all my life and never use one. My hair would probably appreciate it if I’d get one! I’m hoping sunshine arrives soon because my oh my its been a rainy few weeks!
