7 things you might not know about me.

Blouse, Jeans, Sunnies: The Loft.  Boyfriend Cardigan, Ring: Target.  Best Oxford Shoes Ever: Payless.  Belt: Mr.’s. Earrings: Gift from Mom.

 These are only mildly interesting.

1. I’m a confused lefty.  I write, eat, cut, etc. with my left hand.  But I throw, bat, shoot, golf, ski, etc.  With my right.  Mr. is the only other person I’ve ever met who is like this.  I took it as a sign that we were meant to be together.

2. I despise bananas.  Gag.

3. My lips are perpetually chapped.  I’m completely dependent on Chapstick and always have some in my pocket.  I’m also allergic to flavored chapstick, so I have to use the boy kind.  It’s hot.

4. I’m scuba certified, despite my extreme fear of sharks.  I’m the best wife ever.

5. I have green eyes, not brown, but people don’t notice that very often.

6. All of my littles have blue eyes, just like their daddy.  I was secretly hoping for this the whole time we were dating.

7. I knew I was going to marry Mr. the first time I met him, even if my roommate thought I was nuts.  My mom is my witness; I called and told her.  My sense intuition is often uncanny.

Happy Weekend Eve.

I just bought them a few weeks ago, so there’s a good chance you will find them. They’re awesome and were only around 35$ I think.

Just recently found your blog through a google search for rit dye! I’m in love with your style :) I really like your modesty and the way you find a way to look fabulous while being short. I’m a smidge over 5’1″ and completely understand the fact that sleeves which are meant to be 3/4 are wrist-length. Ugh! Btw I have that LOFT striped top and LOVE it :)

I am okay with bananas, but banana flavored candy is the most disgusting thing ever created. I too have green eyes, but my beloved penned a poem to beautiful brown eyes while we were dating! And I knew he was the one the night I met him – totally freaked my grammy out! I was 18. In hindsight, maybe I shouldn’t have told her right then. Eh, live and learn. ;)
    Loved learning more about you!

My dad is a confused lefty as well. I think they call that “mixed handed”, and it is supposedly caused by different stuff going on during a certain trimester of a mother’s pregnancy.

wow, that´s so cool! :D I am also confused lefty – I eat, write, sew and do things that need details with left hand but sports with right hand :D

And I also have always a lip balm with me and I can´t have flavoured one because it makes me sick… I don´t know if that is some kind of allergy or what. Anyway I found a brand – bebe and they have really good sticks. I love them :)

    nice post!! :)

I do totally covet those beautiful shoes of yours. If only I could fit into a smaller size, I would totally steal them right out from under you!! I’ve noticed your green eyes many times. They’re so pretty. Jake’s are green too, and no one ever sees that. They think he has brown.

i dont like the stringy things on a banana. the texture is not appealing, but i do like bananas in stuff (smoothies, banana bread, etc). but my sister in law HATES them… and her daughter loves them more than anything (and often leaves mushy banana pieces for my sil to pick up. haha!) so funny!

i have blue eyes, but pepole always think i have brown, too. i guess its the dark hair?

I’m sort of ambidextrous too! I only write with my left hand but do everything else (eat, use scissors, sports, etc.) with my right hand. Nice to know I’m not alone!

  21. I knew I’d marry my husband when I met him too! And my daughter’s eyes are an olive green that often look light brown unless you’re up close.
    Fun post.

I also dislike bananas, and I thought I was the only one. I live in the Congo- we have a banana tree in our yard, you can buy a huge regime (branch) of bananas for $1 or $2, and there are lots of different kinds. No chocolate, no diet coke, our town runs out of everything else, but there’s always bananas. (I still like banana bread or banana cookies though.)
I also have green eyes, although most people just assume they’re blue. My three kids all got my husband’s blue eyes, though.
I also always have chapstick, even here in the 150% humidity. I can’t go to sleep at night without it because my lips feel too dry and chapped.
Anyway, the rest if different. Thanks for sharing the random facts. They’re fun. :)

Oh my gosh! I just found your blog on pinterest. I love it! This’ll sound weird, but I wish we could be friends! I am 5’2” and I really want to have a style, and you could totally help me. I’d like to say I have an idea of what I want to dress like, but I hae the hardest time layering, and that’s what I wanna do! Also, to comment on this post: my hubby is right handed but does all his sports w/ his left…now I know other ppl are like that too. Also, I always have chapstick in my pocket too! I can’t go w/o it, my hubby thinks I’m addicted, but honestly, I don’t think my lips make their own moisture anymore, they’re always chapped w/o the stuff. Anyways, just thought I’d let you know how cute you and your clothes are. If you ever move to Utah, lets be friends ;) oh p.s. my hubby is from Washington! He loves it!

oh my gosh i love your style!! just discovered your blog and im totally going through and reading your old posts! one tip i’ve learned: skirts must hit above the knee. I’m quite petite myself and this does wonders for me! you have such great style though! most fashion blogs, especially “street fashion” blogs don’t feature outfits that can actually be copied and worn in real life, but yours does!phenominal! totally inspired me to get a mustard cardigan too :)never thought i’d say that!

Just found your {frikkin’ fabulous} blog this morning!

Luckily, my little is w/ Grandma, otherwise CPS may have been called for my ignoring her {because your blog is that addictive}.

Love all your outfits, espesh because they’re not all designer and such. Nothing worse than seeing a “bargain” outfit for $500.

    Have a super week!
