necklace envy. a wonton mommy giveaway.

I went to Costco yesterday.

And the woman loading my stuff into the cart was staring at me the entire time.  I felt a little weird about this until I looked down and realized I was wearing this:

Oh, okay.

She had necklace envy.

I have necklace envy of myself when I’m wearing this thing and then I remember that I am, in fact, the one wearing it. 
Necklace: c/o Wonton Mommy.  Jeans, Cardigan, Boots: Target.  Silk Blouse: Old Navy.  Purse: Vintage.
I mean, mustard, navy and grey, all in one necklace?  Topped off with some polka dots,  accessorized with pearls, and strung from a fabulously vintage chain.  

It’s practically a party for your neck. 

And let’s face it.  Your neck deserves a party.

So Alicia from Wonton Mommy, is pretty much a rockstar.  Not only is EVERYTHING in her shop like out of this world gorgeous, with pretties like this for mommies and their littles, she’s also pretty much the sweetest person I’ve met in a long time.  

And she sent this gorgeous hair piece to Miss Hannah.
Which is so pretty I almost kept it for myself.

Seriously, when I opened the package I wanted to swipe the hairpiece out of her little munchkin fingers, run across the room, and shout “It’s mine, all mine!  Mwah- ha-ha.”

Instead…

I handed it to Hannah, she put it on her head, and no joke, the first words out of her mouth were:
“This is so comfortable!”

HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA. (breathe.) HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA.

First rule of fashion: wear what’s comfortable.
Hairpiece: The Kennedy c/oWonton Mommy.  Blouse, Sweater, Boots: Old Navy.  Skirt: H&M.  Tghts: Target.
And I tell you what, if I’m ever blessed with another little bundle of the female variety, I won’t hesitate a second to wrap her little newborn noggin in one of these delights from Wonton Mommy, cause I know exactly how “comfortable” they are now.  No brain-squeezers here, thank you very much. 

Opening the package from Wonton Mommy the other night was sort of like Christmas morning at our house.  There were gasps and squealing and a little jumping up and down.  Oh, and Hannah was excited too.

Does your neck want a party too?
Oh good, cause Alicia has offered to throw you one.
