holiday 2018: gift guide for girls 3-6.

Abercrombie coat. Abercrombie sweater. Princess Leia Doll.  Toy Kitchen. Kitchen set. snow boots. Baby carriage. My little town sticker set. Doll house. City kit backpack. Balance Bike. Bike.

Okay you guys, I am so excited about this gift guide today because it’s for girls 3-6!  Ava is seriously as such a fun age to shop for, and so I loved putting this gift guide together and finding all the best most beautiful toys!!! (All my older kids are pretty much done with toys now and it makes me so sad so I am embracing this stage with Ava as long as I have it!)

Speaking of which, if you asked my kids my approach to toys, they would definitely say I am a less is more type of person.  I hate clutter, especially toy clutter.  And I also believe that when kids have too many toys they actually don’t play as well.  It becomes decision overload.  Having a few well chosen toys fosters creativity and keeps their rooms much tidier.  It also gives them the space to play and they are able to really see appreciate the toys they have.

So basically we are all about quality over quantity over here. (Which is how I approach gift giving in general).  So I rounded up some really great toys that are all, I feel very conducive to encouraging active play and creativity, and that are also well made and pretty enough you’ll want to pass them down to posterity.

Here we go!

Abercrombie coat.  I this coat in black for Ava earlier this season and she LOVES it.  I love it so much in pink too!  It’s super cozy, warm enough for the whole winter and the price is great.

Abercrombie kids sweater.  I love this cozy little fair isle sweater and it matches perfectly with the little pink coat!

Princess Leia doll.  How dang adorable is this little P.L. doll??  The buns kill me.  I think these are so fun, because your girl can still play with them but they are also soft enough to sleep with.

Hearth and Hand Play kitchen.  Welp. Everything Joanna Gaines does is flawless, apparently.  Even toys.  This is the cutest little play kitchen and it is so much less expensive than other kitchens this well designed.

Play kitchen set.  Of course you’ve got to do the play pot set with it.

Pink snow boots.  I actually ordered these for Ava for Christmas and I cannot wait to see them on her little feet!  I love the pink, but they come in 3 colors and are on sale for $34 right now!

Doll Carriage:  I cannot even tell you how much I love this beautiful doll carriage.  One of the things I love about it is, that its an heirloom toy.  Something you definitely keep for your kids to pass down to your grandkids.  Beautiful, classic.

My little town sticker activity:  this is a perfect little stocking stuffer or gift for nieces or little friends.  I love interactive toys that get kids using their creativity.  And it’s only $10.

Hearth and Hand dollhouse.  Ava already has a doll house (that Hannah passed down to her) otherwise I would be all over this cute wooden doll house.  She loves playing with hers.  I love the modern farmhouse design of this one.  So perfect.

City backpack activity kit.  This is perfect if you travel a lot as a family, because the whole kit tucks nicely into the little backpack, and the design is just so classic and cute.

Balance Bike: I’m including two bikes in this guide depending on how old your child is.  These balance bikes are supposed to be the very best way for kids to learn, and how perfect is this one with the little basket!  It comes in a bunch of colors too.

Bike:  And here’s a perfect alternative if your little one is ready for a big bike. I love how classic this one is too.  Like, I want one for myself! ;-)
